You've so found the ultimate power.

I'd venture to say this is my favorite track I've heard this year, even if it is just a demo reel. The first song was great, and it reminded me a bit of "Still Blastin'" by NemesisTheory. Love the transition into the second song and its incredibly low bass line. The third track had a very cool, collected, and mellow vibe, with some very phased and enjoyable keys. The fourth track was very danceable, with a solid but simple bassline and enjoyable groove. I enjoyed the ambiance of the fifth track, too, but I definitely enjoyed the sixth track the most; it was freaking awesome while it lasted.

Overall, this is an incredible showcase of your musical ability and variety. Keep up the great work, Rig.

P.S.

I'm glad to see the return of the "ULTIMATE POWER!" Freaking awesome and hilarious!

10/10, 5/5.

Thanks, man - I'm glad you think the demo reel works!

Love it!

FIrst of all, this song was a notable improvement from the original, in many ways. The intro was a little strange and darker sounding, considering the rest of the song is very poppy, but it still broke up the monotony of the original. The synthesizers seem crisper, particularly in the bridge and solo, compared to the first cut. The whole song gives a strong J-pop feel, which I love. The only thing I would suggest is maybe adding more bass and different sounding keyboards (some of them sound just a bit too similar for my taste), and possibly having a more complicated or at least louder drum track. Maybe even a few guitars would make it sound more like a J-pop or anime opening theme. Some vocals would just make this song all the better, I would say. Still, I'd have to give this song a ten: it's so catchy and upbeat, yet kind of downtempo at the same time. Keep up the good work, and I hope the project goes well; it's hard finding a satisfying mix, or even a good singer, for that matter. I'll look forward to it, A.J. 10/10, 5/5.

Wow, thanks for the great feedback! Yeah, I'm pretty terrible when it comes to programming drums, so they can definitely use a boost. I also agree, the vocals will be better. The synth that's playing the melody right now will be taken out when I finally decide on lyrics for it (if that ever happens XD), which will *hopefully* fatten up the arrangement a little. Thanks again :D

Nice and mellow.

Real ambient, but enjoyable. I will say it gets a lot better with the added layers as it goes on. I like the synths too. The only reason I took off a point is because it sounds like it's building up to something SWELLING, only to loop again. Not that I don't like loops or anything. Overall, well made, for sure, but feels like it should be longer. 9/10, 5/5.

Yeah bro, I might make it the beginning of something later. I just wanted to remake it today. Thanks for the review.

This is cool. I like this.

For a piece of shit, this is a pretty cool piece of shit. The shitty synth and drums don't sound shitty at all. Pretty good, but a little short when it kicks in. It feels like it fades out before it truly begins. But otherwise, I like it a lot. 8/10, 4/5.

Soundtrack to beautiful isolation...

This is a very well arranged and shockingly beautiful piece. It brings off strong feelings of isolation and its tranquil, melancholy beauty. Minimalist, but in a very suiting and original way. I have to say, INFINITY, you create some great, moving, innovative music. This is but another fantastic piece of the great INFINITY MUSIC PROJECT canon. A deserving 10/10 and 5/5.

Very unique...

Solid, with plenty of great, strange drums. Very relaxing, and it almost sounds like it could fit as a trippy score for an anime. Real low-fi and original, and the pianos and strings add a serious element of melancholy and emotional power. I really enjoyed this one, to be honest. 9.10, 5/5.

Fantastic work!

This song is a really neat combination of beautiful strings and great electronics. Very well produced and very catchy. It's kind of a combination you don't really hear too often: classical strings and dancy drums and synthesizers. Real cool and original. I'm definitely adding it to my favorites. 10/10, 5/5!

Take it easy.

Hey thanks! :D been a while since I've uploaded anything here, nice to have a warm welcome, though :) I'll be uploading more songs tomorrow.

Thanks for the review :-]

'Oh yeah! Great!'

That's all I can say, Leafy. (A great, generic quote from Onizuka from Great Teacher Onizuka) This is some of your best work yet, I'd have to say (although I do enjoy your more score-ish stuff...heck, even your 8-bit track). I'd still have to say you make the best fake guitar sounds in the world. This crap is like from the greatest RPG boss fight ever. Almost like a Super Robot Taisen game.

So, what plug-ins did you use for the guitars? If you did it with FL Slayer, I'm mighty impressed. Personally, I think FL Slayer is cool, but it's not that real-sounding, unlike your guitars. I'm real curious.

One thing I love about this song also is the length, which is something you don't really see on Newgrounds. And when it builds up to the solo, it sounds effing incredible. The more I listen to it, the more I think this may your best work yet, no lie.

Anyway, the know what I'm gonna say - ten out of ten, five out five (Woops, I guess I accidentally voted four...damn). Keep up the great work - here's to more fantastic music, R.T.

...Leafy? And I watched that awesome show. In fact, listen to Eternal Regret (available at my own blog, not here) and notice that it's inspired by one of GTO's ending themes :) If you enjoy my score-ish stuff, or classical works, then there are plenty that I have up and a new one in particular just made yesterday! And the 8-bit track...I have two, but probably you're referring to 8-Bit Fireflies and not Little Bit based on guesses. I do my best in making them sound that way. Takes work and actual knowledge about guitar amplification in general. Which I still haven't gotten completely down, anyways. XD Good to know it reminds you of Super Robot Taisen; I draw a lot of inspiration from there and it's probably the kind of music that sounds most similar to my original composing style!

Regarding guitars, that's a trade secret, but PM me and I'll give some hints. :) And no, I did not do it with FL Slayer. It's capable of some things, but not the things I look for, unfortunately.

Yes, this is probably one of the most complete and lengthiest originals I've ever made. Has structures and a full-fledged solo. I myself think what you think the more I listen to it!

Thanks so much for the comments, rating and review! I'll always be doing my best then, knowing there are people out there who'll appreciate it :)

A refreshing melodic ride across a vast ocean...

Totally fantastic. I adore the guitar playing mixed with the 8-bit sounds. Undeniably cool. It almost sounds like it could be an upbeat opening theme to a classic anime series, to me at least.

What programs did you use to make it? And what guitar did you use? If you could answer these questions, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I actually enjoy loops a lot, but I will say that making this song a loop was a rather bad idea. This song needs to be full-length. Like, seriously. Regardless, this is totally, utterly fantastic, as I said. A real incredible piece of work, Fabs, and I'm be completely honest. A fantastic job.

Needless to say, a 10 out of 10, and a 5 out of 5.

Keep up the great work!
